Our story
Neighbors,
organized.
Angel Mercy Foundation, Inc. is a community nonprofit. We exist to make sure the help that already exists in this place is easy to find, easy to give, and steady enough to rely on.

Partnership work, in progress
Why we began
The idea was not ours alone. It came from conversations with people who had been passed between offices, given phone numbers that rang out, and told to come back with documents they did not have.
Meanwhile, right down the street, there were congregations with empty halls, businesses with surplus goods, and retired professionals with hours to give. The resources were there. The connection was not.
So we built the connection: a small, stubborn organization that answers the phone, keeps its promises, and brings the right people to the same table.
Our mission
Serve our neighbors with compassion, dignity, and practical help — meeting people where they are and staying with them for as long as it takes. Support should strengthen a person rather than diminish them, so we listen first and act second.
Our vision
A community where everyone can find the help they need, when they need it, and where giving is as natural as receiving. Neighbors, partners, and local organizations working as one, so that no one faces a hard season alone.
Where we stand
Numbers we will
keep publishing.
We would rather show our work than describe it. These are the figures we report to members, partners, and funders.
What we hold to
Four commitments.
Dignity first
Nobody should have to prove they are struggling enough to deserve help. We take people at their word.
Plain speech
No jargon, no acronyms, no forms with eighteen boxes. If we can explain it in a sentence, we do.
Open books
What we spend and what we count are available to members and partners. Trust is a practice, not a claim.
Long horizons
We would rather do three things for a decade than thirty for a season. Consistency is the strategy.
Leadership & governance

Who is accountable.
We are governed by a volunteer board drawn from our members and partners, with an executive lead responsible for day-to-day work. Names, roles, and terms will be published here, along with our annual report, so anyone can see who decides what.
If you would like to serve on the board, or simply see the current governance documents, call us and we will send them to you.
