An outreach program of Angel Mercy
Outreach program
Feed The
Children.
Food is the first thing a family cuts back on, and the last thing anyone should have to ask twice for. Feed The Children is how Angel Mercy puts groceries and hot meals in the hands of our neighbors — quietly, without a maze of paperwork, and without making anyone feel small for asking.
Need food now? Call (682) 448-0178 — a person answers, and you do not have to explain yourself twice.
- Distribution days
- Set month to month with our volunteers. Call and we will read you the current schedule.
- Who we serve
- Neighbors who are short on food — no case number, no referral needed. Tell us what you need.
- How to request help
- The form below, or a phone call. Whichever is easier for you.
What this program is
A full bag,
and a warm greeting.
Feed The Children is Angel Mercy Foundation, Inc.’s food outreach: the program that gathers groceries, packs them with volunteers, and gets them to families, older neighbors, and anyone else in our community who is going without.
It runs on ordinary generosity — a business with surplus stock, a congregation that holds a food drive, a driver with a free Saturday, someone who sets up a monthly gift. None of it is complicated, and all of it lands on a kitchen table nearby.
We keep the process short on purpose. You tell us what you need. We tell you honestly what we can do. Then we do it, and we do not make you tell your story to four different people on the way.
“A bag of groceries is not charity. It is a week where a parent can pay the light bill and still put dinner on the table.”
How we think about this work

A delivery, and the reason for it
Who this program is for
Families stretching a paycheck, older neighbors living alone, people between jobs, and anyone whose cupboard is genuinely empty this week. If you are unsure whether you qualify, call and ask — the answer starts from yes.
How it works
Four steps,
no runaround.
- 01
You reach out
Call us or use the short form on this page. Tell us roughly how many people you are feeding and what you need. A sentence is enough — there is no interview.
- 02
We confirm the details
Someone from the foundation calls or writes back to confirm what we can put together and when. If we cannot help with a particular item, we will say so plainly and point you somewhere that can.
- 03
Food is gathered
Volunteers pack bags and boxes with groceries, fresh items when we have them, and shelf-stable staples. Our partners help us keep the shelves filled.
- 04
We get it to you
You collect it at a distribution, or a volunteer brings it to you. We will tell you exactly where to be and who to ask for.
Specific distribution dates, times and pickup locations are confirmed with our volunteers each month, so we do not print them here where they would go stale. Call (682) 448-0178 and we will tell you the current schedule.
Get help from this program
Ask for food.
That is the whole form.
Leave your name, a way to reach you, and a sentence about what you need. Someone from the foundation will get back to you — usually within a day or two.
How you can help
Three ways to fill
a bag.
Food, funds, or time — any of the three keeps the program running. Pick whichever you actually have.
Give food
Shelf-stable groceries, fresh produce from a garden, surplus from a business, or a food drive at your church, school, or workplace. Call ahead and we will tell you what we can actually use this week.
Call (682) 448-0178Give money
A gift buys what a food drive cannot: milk, eggs, meat, produce, and the bags and boxes it all travels in. One-time and monthly gifts both go straight into the program.
Donate to the programGive time
Pack bags, sort donations, drive a route, or make phone calls. Two hours a month is genuinely useful, and we will train you on the day.
Volunteer with usRunning a food business, a church pantry, a school, or a workplace that wants to collect? Call us before you start buying — we will tell you what we can store and use, so nothing you gather goes to waste.
One bag of groceries is a small thing.
A thousand of them is a program.
Feed The Children exists because members of this community decided that nobody here should go hungry while the rest of us have enough. If that is a decision you want to be part of, there is room for you.
