Mission & vision
Three statements,
one foundation.
Angel Mercy Foundation, Inc. exists for a reason we can say in a sentence, toward a community we can picture, and under a motto short enough to remember on a hard day.
Mission & vision
What we are
here for.
Three statements hold this work together: why we exist, the community we are working toward, and the words we measure ourselves against. They are short on purpose.
Our Mission
Serve our neighbors with compassion, dignity, and practical help — meeting people where they are and staying with them for as long as it takes. Support should strengthen a person rather than diminish them, so we listen first and act second.
Our Vision
A community where everyone can find the help they need, when they need it, and where giving is as natural as receiving. Neighbors, partners, and local organizations working as one, so that no one faces a hard season alone.
Our Motto
Compassionate Hands of God
Everything on this site — the programs, the partnerships, the way we answer the phone — is meant to look like those words.
What it looks like in practice
The same words, on a
Tuesday morning.
A mission is only worth what it changes about an ordinary week. These four commitments are how we hold ourselves to the words above.
We listen first
Before we offer anything, we find out what someone actually needs. It is slower at the start and it is the only way the help is ever right.
We keep a person’s dignity
No one should have to prove they are struggling enough to deserve help. We take people at their word, and we do not make them tell the story twice.
We work with our partners
Where another organization can do something better, we help them do it rather than build a second version. The community is the point, not the credit.
We keep showing up
Steadiness is the whole method. The same faces, at the same times, for years — so that people can plan on us instead of hoping for us.
